For every $20 sports physical that is done at State Road Medical Facility, we will donate the entire $20 to the student-athletes school athletic department. The more physicals each school has done at State Road, the more money for their school athletic department.

Masks will be worn by students and staff through Friday June 4th, 2021. We want to continue to keep our students safe through the end of this school year. From June 7th-August 18th, we will follow CDC mask guidance that states that non-vaccinated people should wear masks in our buildings. The Board of Education will consult with the Conneaut Health Department and issue guidance for the 2021-22 school year by the August meeting.
I would personally like to thank EVERYONE for your support and cooperation this school year. It was a long and trying one for sure but we were able to get through it together and stay #SpartanStrong! It continues to be an honor and privilege to serve as Superintendent of this district. Thank you~Lori A. Riley

Dear Spartan School Community,
Conneaut Area City School District remains committed to the safety and health of our students and staff and is required to notify the school community when a positive test or case is reported . We want to inform you that we received information about three confirmed cases of COVID-19 in students (one each at CHS and CMS) and one staff member. These schools will remain open at this time. We are working closely with the Conneaut City Health Department and anyone identified as a close contact has been notified by the health department as a part of COVID-19 investigation.
Again, I must stress that if your child is exhibiting any signs of illness please keep them home from school and from extra curricular activities. Keeping kids home when they are sick will help reduce the spread of this virus. Thank you for helping to keep people safe and to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community and school.
Sincerely,
Lori A. Riley, Superintendent

Dear Spartan School Community,
Conneaut Area City School District is committed to the safety and health of our students and staff. We want to inform you that this weekend we received information about at least two confirmed case of COVID-19 in students at CMS and CHS. These schools will remain open at this time. We are working closely with the Conneaut City Health Department and anyone identified as a close contact will be notified by the health department as a part of COVID-19 investigation.
On Thursday, Ashtabula County went back into the red and became the 9th county for highest rate of COVID cases per 100,000 for a three week period. Younger people are catching the UK strain and this strain spreads rapidly through households. The coronavirus is not done with us yet! We must remain diligent and follow all health protocols. We want to be able to move forward with the many end of year activities we have planned but community spread will play a factor in the decision making process.
Thank you for helping to keep people safe and to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community and school.
Sincerely, Lori A. Riley, Superintendent
